Groovie Mann

About

Frank Nardiello's first band in the late 70s was Special Affect, a Chicago area punk/glam/new wave group that also featured one Al Jourgensen (later of Ministry, etc.). He then moved to England and replaced Angela Jaeger in Drowning Craze, with Simon Raymonde.

After The Drowning Craze split, Frank returned to Chicago and met Marston Daley in Chicago in 1987. They dubbed themselves Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy and over the years have enlisted a revolving cast of Chicago scenesters called the Bomb Gang Girlz to invent and reinvent their band called My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. TKK started out as a lowbrow movie concept, but became a full-fledged band - eventually one of the premier industrial dance bands.
