Godfarts (later renamed Blowfuse) was a punk rock band from Barcelona. Influenced by the punk rock wave of the 80s and 90s, and potentially marked by skateboarding.
At the beginning of 2007, Oscar Puig (vocalist and guitar) met the brothers Sergi (guitar) and Ricard Bouffard (drums) at high school. Seeing their great love for music and sharing the same musical tastes, they immediately decided to form a band, learning to play instruments almost from scratch. In the middle of that year the band established itself under the name Godfarts. After a long search, and after playing with several bassists during the first months, they met Víctor Mañas (bass), (who at that time was the drummer of the band KTKalles) and who also shared a great love not only for music but also for skateboarding. The arrival of Víctor Mañas marks the definitive closure of the formation.
In mid-2008 and at their young age they decided to record their first demo called "Restless" edited by themselves. This opens a space for them in the local Barcelona scene and leads them to give their first concerts. In 2010 they recorded their first studio album called "Messed Up Minds", released under the labels "Eating Shit Records" (SP) and "Fragment Records" (SP), where the band's first single "Downhill To Hell In" is found. A Row" of which they filmed their first video clip, referring to extreme descents on a skateboard. This album led them to their first national tours, including a Peninsular tour with the legendary North American band 7 Seconds in 2012, and their first European tour. During this period they shared the stage with bands such as Face To Face, Adolescents The Casualties, The Unseen among others. That same year the group signed with Vans Music Spain.
