Ginji James

Soul artist from McGregor, Texas. She was signed by Carl Davis to Brunswick Records in 1971 for what turned out to be a one-album deal. James' smooth voice and song selection drew raves at live performances, but her sole single, "Love Changed His Face", drew only modest US airplay in 1972, and she was dropped from the label.
