Ghost Car

Originally from Valencia, Spain, Ghost Car debuted in 2015 with a split LP released there by collaborating local labels. The band then relocated to London where the line-up of Maria Paton (lead vocal, bass), Clara Bleda (keyboards, theremin), Maeve Henry (guitar) and Laura Hart (drums) established a strong live reputation backed by a series of singles on noted underground labels from the UK and USA and increasingly high profile live shows. Crowdfunded sessions for a debut album were recorded at Abbey Road studios in January 2020, additional sessions with new material continued in 2021. When Maria Paton returned to Spain, Maeve Henry took over live vocals and Cecilia Corapi (Qlowski) was recruited to play bass.
