Born: February 16, 1967 (Moss Side, Manchester, UK)
In the late 1980s he began experimenting with tape editing and drum machines forming the Scratchbeat Masters (S-B-M) before teaming up with Hit Squad MCR, a collaboration between a number of crews, Graham Massey and Martin Price with whom he then formed the 808 State.
In 1987 he launched his alias, A Guy Called Gerald.
In 1991 he started his own label undefined Records.
In 1998 the label closed and he relocating to New York. In early 2002 he returned to London and then moved to Berlin.
