Geno Delafose

American zydeco accordionist, drummer, washboard player, and singer. He began playing in his father's band, John Delafose & The Eunice Playboys, at the age seven. First he played the washboard, then drums, and after his father developed heart trouble, accordion. He plays both the diatonic and piano accordions, and sings in both French and English.


Son of John Delafose, and brother of Tony Delafose and John Delafose Jr.
