Franz Welser-Möst

Born in Linz, Austria, on the 16th of August, 1960, Franz Welser-Möst is a conductor, and the seventh and current music director of The Cleveland Orchestra, succeeding Christoph von Dohnányi in 2002. He has also served tenures with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the undefined, and the Wiener Philharmoniker.
