Frank Jorge, stage name of Jorge Otávio Pinto Pouey de Oliveira (born September 20, 1966, Porto Alegre-RS), is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, writer, and teacher. He participated in many important rock groups from Southern Brazil, including Cascavelletes, Graforréia Xilarmônica, and Cowboys Espirituais. He also has an established career as a solo artist. He is known in the Porto Alegre scene as Frank. Between 2000 and 2004 he has authored four books. In 2007, he founded the undergraduate course in Phonographic Production at UNISINOS, a local university, of which he has been professor and course coordinator for 16 years until July 2023. In 2023 he is planing a move to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
