Frank Brasswell

About

Born in Greenville, Pitt County, December 25th, 1886, and was living Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Chicago, Illinois later on.

He recorded for ARC in 1930 with Big Bill Broonzy and Georgia Tom.
Braswell also recorded as Western Kid for Gennett with Broonzy. It was suggested in notes to [m646504] that [a=John Thomas (10)] was a pseudonym for Brasswell as well. This was speculative, and "Blues and gospel records 1890-1943" (Oxford University Press, 1997) list them as different musicians.
