African-American vocal quartet, who first recorded under the name of Lt. Jim Europe's Four Harmony Kings in 1919. As Four Harmony Kings, they made recordings between 1921 and 1929. They appeared later in the Broadway productions of Chocolate Dandies and Bamville.
