San Francisco-based power pop band that toured and recorded 1986-90 with core members Chris von Sneidern, John Stuart, and Dale Duncan (also principal songwriter). Johnny J. Blair was briefly in the live band in 1990. Flying Color eventually attracted a global following and reformed in 2018-19 with co-founder Hector Penalosa returning to the line-up. Stuart continues to perform and von Sneidern built a sizable solo artist career as well as producing artists and touring with The Flamin' Groovies.
