The Firehouse Five Plus Two was a Dixieland jazz band, formed in 1949 by Ward Kimball, consisting of members of the Walt Disney Studios animation department.
The band appeared in animated form in the 1953 Goofy animated short, "How to Dance".
The band recorded at least 13 LP albums, starting in 1955. The last album, "Live at Earthquake McGoon's" was recorded in 1970 in San Francisco.
