Collaboration between Robert Fripp, Thomas Fehlmann, Kris Weston (aka Thrash), and Alex Paterson. Fripp was a founding member of King Crimson, and the other three were all members of The Orb (though Thrash would soon depart from the group.) The group name and album title is taken from the initials of the four members: Fripp, Fehlmann, Weston, and D.A.R. Paterson (Alex Paterson's full name is Duncan Alexander Robert Paterson) and is a reference to the "fast forward" function on a cassette or compact disc player. The album peaked at #48 in the UK Albums Chart in August 1994.
