English pop group from the greater London area started by Alan Moore & Mick Richardson who went to school together and initially formed a blues band called Morgans Roots with Pete Parks. Richardson had previously been involved with a band called The Syn who later became Yes (with Pete Banks). Felius Andromeda released only one single, in November 1967. Denis Couldry and Bill Haine were not original members of the band but were added by the producer Vic Keary, whose girl friend Pam Barry wrote the lyrics. The B side was written and sung by Denis Couldry. Meditations was recorded at Maximum Sound Studios on the Old Kent Road. The organ was recorded at a church near Willesden in London. Five years later some members reappeared in a band named Andromeda (not to be confused with Andromeda) who released a lone 7".
