Singer, tv host, businesswoman, activist and actress, born on August 16, 1971. In the early 90s Federica along with her brother André Quijano Tapia, Daniela Magún, Sergio Ortiz O'Farril (cousin), René Ortiz Martínez and María José Loyola formed Kabah, one of the most representative groups of the mexican youth pop scene of the 90s. After separation of Kabah in 2005, Federica concentrated on her business career and on finding new horizons as actress, starring in the film Pamela: secretos de una pasión. In 2007, she participated in EXA TV conducting the program "Kiu", dedicated to talk about sexuality with young people. Due to the health of her son Sebastián, she left the program to later join as director of Televisa En Vivo. Federica decided to become mother in 2007, and began a long process to adopt María Quijano Tapia, her daughter. Then she adopted a boy named Sebastian, who at 3 years old was diagnosed with autism, ADD and mental retardation. Federica had to face the obstacles of being a single mother and the few information that exists about autism in Mexico. As a result of this she became a spokesperson for different foundations dedicated to raising awareness about autism. Elected deputy in 2021.
