Formed in 1965, the original Fantastic Four line-up featured Wallace 'Toby' Childs, James Epps, and brothers Joseph and Ralph Pruitt.

The B side of their third single at undefined "The Whole World Is a Stage" (1967) became their biggest pop hit.
After a brief period at undefined they were signed to undefined where they released five albums in the 1970's.
