Evil Activities used to be a project consisting of Kelly van Soest and Telly Luyks, but Luyks left in 2003. After that, EA became a solo project with van Soest as producer, and DJ Dazzler and Chaosphere joining him on stage. After another period as a solo project, MC E-Life became a part of the project, both providing vocals for tracks and appearing in live performances.
The name 'Evil Activities' originated from combining the DJ names of its two original members: DJ Evil (Kelly's first DJ name, which became 'DJ Fanatic' later) and DJ Active (Telly).
