Eve Of Destiny

About

Industrial-goth duo comprised of vocalist Haruhiko Ash (of 80/90s Japanese punk band The Zolge) and guitarist Közi (formerly of Malice Mizer).

They started around 1998 as Haruhiko's solo project with support members and with this lineup, he recorded a track for the Black Bible compilation and played at Wave Gotik Treffen. The project was restarted in 2002 when Közi joined him after Malice Mizer stopped and they started to tour extensively, performing at Wave Gotik Treffen, doing several European tours and also visiting less conventional gothic destinations such as New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. They signed to Celtic Circle Productions, but the label postponed their debut mini-album several times and when the CD was finally manufactured and supposedly released, the label disappeared, leaving behind several CDs that never made it to the stores and a festival that was cancelled in the last minute. Soon afterwards Eve Of Destiny ceased all activities and only Közi remained active in the music scene.
