Finnish singer, who recorded more than 500 songs. Born February 16th, 1907 in Helsinki, Finland, died September 1st, 1993 in the same city.

Early in his career he was also a trumpet player, in 1935-1939 leading the Rytmi-Pojat band, which recorded a large number of popular songs, many of jazz interest.
Brother of Georg Malmstén and Greta Pitkänen.
