American pop band, formed in 1965 as [a=The Phantoms (26)] in Cleveland, Mississippi.
After relocating to Biloxi, Mississippi and adding vocalist Linda Lawlor group was renamed to Eternity's Children.
Band was located in New Orleans for a time where they served as backing band to Charlie Rich.
Moved to Los Angeles prior to 1967. Guitarist Jerry Bounds left before release of the group's album debut as did Walker and Blackman.
Disbanded in 1974. Whittaker had a post band career in radio as "Chris Holiday" at WLCY. (Tampa. Florida)
