    Ester Rada (born March 7, 1985 in Kiryat Arba) is an Israeli soul/R&B singer and actress of Ethiopian Jewish descent. She is an MTV EMA awards nominee for Best Israeli Act. Rada's debut EP, Life Happens, was released in November, 2012. Most of her songs are in English, but she also sings in Amharic and Hebrew. She describes her music as Ethio-soul. Rada opened for Alicia Keys in Israel in 2014.
