About

Escape Act is an alternative rock band from Belfast. The group was formed in April 2006, originally as a 3-piece. The 3-track collection feature 'Napkins With Nettles', 'Cabin Fever' and 'Corpses Candle'. In June of the following year, the band released 'God Says' as a split 7" single with Tom McShane. This track would later appear on the 'Loosely Based On Fiction' album which was released in November 2008. In 2009, Escape Act returned to the studio with Andy Miller to record a new album. Entitled 'Balance', the album was released in February 2010.
