When Lauri Tähkä announced in March 2011 that Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu had reached its end, the rest of the band announced that they will continue under the name Elonkerjuu and by January 2012 Juha Lagström was chosen as their new vocalist. The first single by the new line-up "Viistäköön siipeni maata" was released in May 2012, followed by "Surun ja ilon kaupunki" in August 2012 and their debut album "Ilon pirstaleet" a month later. The line-up changed in 2017 when Johanna Koivu and Juha Lagström left the band to be replaced by Osku Ketola.
