Short lived band with musicians from Ghana. Their songs were based around a 6/8 rhythm influenced by the music of the Ewe people from the South East of Ghana and West Togo. They moved to Lagos without instruments but met the son of Bobby Benson and got to play at The Caban Bamboo. After meeting Fela in his Kalakuta Republic explaining their intentions of combining traditional African rhythms with western sound they were invited to perform in The Shrine before Fela’s Africa’70 and got the chance to record a LP in 25 hours at E.M.I. Studio Lagos, May 1st & 2nd, 1973 under the production of Odion Iruoje. Though the still to this day experimental and unique album was hardly received and no succes frustration made the band to split up after 2years.
