Edelis

The Russian composer and producer Vladimir Volodin was born on 22 September, 1981 in a small town Pokrovsk (now Engels) of Saratov region. Some time after Vladimir with his family moved to a quiet small town Melovoye, secluding himself from the fuss, where he lives now… Vladimir’s creative life started from early years. Training at a musical school helped him to reveal and comprehend the World which he was attracted to hopelessly. Vladimir realised that he was able to convey his world outlook with the means of music. Having graduated the School of Art named after A.P. Bogolyubov in 2001, the author took to composing and forms, step by step, the basic features and style of the future project “Edelis”. After some complicated stages of creative search, the first album “Expressiveness” appeared in 2004, and the name of the project was formed – “Edelis”. “Edelis” is a mythical town, and the musical project narrates of its life – says Vladimir. Carried away by recording, the composer created a number of new albums, forming the life of this mythical town.
