Seago moved from a career in advertising to songwriting, joining up with schoolfriend [a=Mike Leander] in 1969 to write "Early In The Morning" for [a=Vanity Fare]. Seago eventually ran the publishing arm of RAM [l364229], co-founded between him and Leander when the latter's career took off in the days of 'glam-rock' hit singles. He also worked with [a=Adrian Baker] on the disco act [a=Liquid Gold] and worked on the dance label "Champion". The man responsible for the English lyrics on cruise-ship holiday favorite '[i]Y Viva Espana[/i]'
