Duke Lake is the pseudonym of Antonello Gabelli, he began his career as a musician in the late 60's, more precisely in 1969 when he replaced Fabrizio Levati as guitarist for the Italian group " I Corvi " famous for the song " Sono Un Ragazzo Di Strada " and the cover of " Bang Bang ". He left " I Corvi " in 1971 and joined the musical group " Nuova Idea " in replacement of the guitarist Marco Zoccheddu. Between 1983 and 1984 he released and arranged under "Memory Group" label 3 singles that are the Italo-Disco history: Duke Lake " Do You ", J.D. Jaber " Don't Top Lovin' " , Mac Jr. " Elephant Song ". In 1983 Ennio Tricomi founded the record labels " Cruisin Records " and " Hiara Dischi " and five years later he brought the old " I Corvi" comrades Angel Ravasini, Antonello Gabelli and Gimmi Ferrari into the recording studio and resumed his live activity. Antonello passed away in October 2016 and the following year " I Corvi " did the " Lello Tour 2017 " in his memory.
