    Drew Kennedy has devoted his life to writing and performing his songs his way. With a catalog eight-albums deep, one novel penned, and two annual music festival created (the Red River Songwriters’ Festival as well as the Marathon Songwriters Festival), Kennedy has done more than build a strong career– he has reimagined what it means to be a songwriter, both artistically and entrepreneurially. No Depression, American Songwriter, popmatters, CMT, and other beacon roots publications have praised his efforts. His always-expanding circle of collaborators includes [A=Lori McKenna], [A=Walt Wilkins], [A=Matraca Berg], [A=Jeff Hanna], [A=Travis Meadows], [A=Jeffrey Steele (2)], [A=Heather Morgan], [A=Sean McConnell], and others, while [A=Lori McKenna], [A=Travis Meadows], [A=Patty Loveless] and [A=Jason Eady], [A=Walt Wilkins], [A=Ben Danaher], [A=Josh Grider], and more have recorded his songs. Drew released his eighth album, At Home In The Big Lonesome (produced by Dave Brainard), on November 3rd, 2017.
