Dreamers were the very first incarnation of Johnette Napolitano and James Mankey's creative effort in L.A.. As Dreamers, they only released one song titled "Heart Attack" on a compilation of Los Angeles artists called "The D.I.Y. Album". The band went on to rename themselves L.A. Dreamers then Dream 6, and finally Concrete Blonde.
