Doug Parkinson In Focus

About

Originally named The Questions. With some personnel changes and the rapid growing popularity of their lead singer Doug Parkinson, the band changed its name to Doug Parkinson In Focus in March 1968. The group recorded a number of successful singles but no albums. The band ended when Doug and drummer Johnny Dick were invited to join Fanny Adams in mid-1970.

Fanny Adams recorded one album before dissolving in acrimony in early 1971. Doug reunited with Billy Green and Duncan McGuire, plus ex-Spectrum and King Harvest drummer Mark Kennedy to create a new version of In Focus. The second incarnation of the band ended in early 1972 and Doug went on to pursue a solo career.
