Born December 30, 1916 in West Ham, London, England, UK.
Died October 18, 2012 in Cambria, California, USA.
She was married to violinist/bandleader undefined & elder sister of fellow singers Pearl Carr and Carole Carr.
Initially a pianist, in 1937 she auditioned for Ray Noble, who asked her to sing instead. She later became a vocalist with Harry Roy then Geraldo And His Orchestra from 1940 to 1947. She moved to the USA in 1946 with second husband Henry Hull Jr, appearing in cabaret and on TV shows. She traveled to London in 1953 to perform concerts and radio shows, and recorded various albums before returning to the USA by the 1960s.
