DJ Sven

Sven van Veen (born 25 February 1961) is a Dutch Singer, DJ and producer from Hilversum, North Holland.

He received worldwide recognition with the song "Holiday Rap" (with [a=MC Miker G.]). The song became a summer hit of 1986 in 34 countries, and it gained the number 1 position in the Netherlands. Sven was also the co-host for the talked-about shock radio programme "Sven & Stand", which ended in 1990. The show debuted on BNN, on radio 3.

Currently Sven runs his own Café (Sven's Café) in Hilversum, and hosts the radio programme Disco Inferno, Saturday nights on Radio Veronica. Sven is also one of the permanent sidekicks of Rob of Someren in the programme Somertijd. They have been spotted together in discothèques as DJ's during the Disco Inferno Tour.
