Genki Hikota is a Japanese UK hardcore and J-rock producer. Owner of the Sketch Up! Recordings label alongside DJ Noriken and is a regular contributor to the Hardcore Tano*C doujin circle.
He regularly contributes to the works of other doujin circles, such as Hardcore Tano*C, Massive CircleZ and S2TB Recording, and he is a part of the GAT trio alongside artists Aran and Ryosuke Tachibana. He also frequently appears on commercial releases. In 2016, he started using his own sub-label, djgenki.net, for his releases.
He occasionally makes tracks bordering on genres such as frenchcore and psycore. As of late 2014, he was one of the producers and guitarists of the utaite metal band Grilled Meat Youngmans and, as of 2015, he also played for 元気くんバンド (Genki-kun Band) alongside Yukacco, Camellia, and Massive New Krew.
