Dirty Looks is an American rock band, formed in 1984 in the San Francisco bay area. Founded by Danish vocalist/guitarist, Henrik Ostergaard, the band released 3 indie albums before signing to Atlantic, where they saw some chart success. Initially breaking up in 1993, Ostergaard restarted the band in 1994. After 3 more releases, the band again called it a day in 1996.
The band restarted in 2007, releasing 5 more albums, and a compilation album between 2007-2010. Henrik Ostergaard died of liver failure at the age of 47, on January 27, 2011, cementing the band's demise. However, the other members regrouped im September 2021, with bassist Jack Pyers, guitarist Paul Lidel and drummer Gene Barnett joined by rhythm guitarist David Beeson and vocalist Jason McMaster.
