Dino Rubino (Biancavilla, Catania - October 20, 1980) In '91 he began studying classical piano at the Conservatory "V. Bellini " in Catania. In '94, after seeing playing Tom Harrell, he decides to start trumpet studying. In '95 Dino participates in Siena Jazz seminars and he will receive a scholarship for the following year. In '98, he won the Massimo Urbani prize, for best national talent emerging. In 2008, Dino joined of Francesco Cafiso's group. He collaborated with Cafiso for five years, recording with him six albums. He has recorded three albums under his own name: "Mi Sono Innamorato Di Te" for the Japanese label "Venus", "Zenzi" and "Kairos" for Tuk Music, the Paolo Fresu's label He currently lives in Paris.
