Dieter Kovacic born in 1973 in Vienna. Since the late 80s he has worked continuously in rendering cassette players, vinyls, cds and harddisks into instruments. Turntablist, hacker, filmmaker, autodidact, composer, collageur, conscientious copyright objector. Since 1997 Dieb13 has played hundreds of shows in more than 30 countries as soloist under several names, as well as a member of various ensembles. In 2000 he founded https://www.klingt.org which is a web platform specialised in abstract/experimental music, offering services for artists and, unreleased tracks as free audio-on-demand.
