Dick Richards

Dick Richards (born February 12, 1924, Yeadon, Pennsylvania, USA - died July 12, 2019, Ocean City, New Jersey, USA) was an American drummer, vocalist, and actor. He was a member of Bill Haley And His Comets, playing with the band from 1953 until 1955, before forming The Jodimars. From the 1960s through to the late 1990s, Richards acted in films and television series. In 1989, the original members of The Comets reunited (with Richards on drums) and continued performing until 2014.

Prior to joining Bill Haley And His Comets, Richards was a football player and school teacher.
