Dark, futuristic post-punk quartet hailing from Archway, London. Detachments are commanded by Bastien Marshal (vocals, multi-instrumentalist and producer). The group has seen a variety of troops (for live shows) serve within it's ranks from 2008 to present day though none have performed on recordings (except for some percussion from long-serving drummer Pete Dawson). Detachments have worked with producers James Ford and Trevor Jackson plus Andrew Weatherall.
