Der Arbeiter

Der Arbeiter is the solo project of Juan A., Chilean architect and musician. Since 2002, he has developed a unique style within the Neofolk scene, combining the warm sound of acoustic instruments with cold synth pads and electronic beats. The inspiration for his compositions comes from a variety of sources. Among them, the sublime beauty of Chile´s natural landscapes, and the writings of authors such as Heraclitus, Friedrich Nietzsche, Ernst Jünger and Martin Heidegger.
