    Denny Cordell

    English producer & label boss (August 1, 1943 - February 18, 1995), perhaps most famous for producing The Moody Blues and the [a=Cranberries]. Cordell first gained fame in 1967 as the producer of Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade Of Pale. Later, he sold out his share of Regal Zonophone to start Regal Zonophone in January 1970, that was home to the likes of J.J. Cale, Tom Petty, Joe Cocker and Leon Russell.
