Demis CousCous

Musician from the UK. He is a self taught musician, songwriter and producer. He records at home and in various homes largely in the UK and Norway. He has been releasing his music online since 2006. Initially each release was on a song by song basis, but in 2007 he began in earnest to conceive and record complete albums. Since then he has released three albums of original material under the name Demis CousCous ("Dog Kill Bird" in 2007, "The Freemealin' Demis CousCous" in 2008 and "I Was Prufrock" in 2011) and two albums consisting of cover versions of popular songs spanning a 70 year time frame ("Twenty Five Golden Grapes" in 2007 and "Cover Yourself In CousCous" in 2010). 2007 also saw the release of the debut side project album with The Mackerelheads entitled "I Was A Teenage Mackerelhead". This was followed up in 2010 by the second Mackerelheads album "Buster and Dokka". There have also been two "imaginary soundtrack albums" recorded with key members of The Mackerelheads.
