Formed in 1985, as a Trio:
Andoni Basterretxea (Vocals and Guitar).
[url=x]Juan Jose Iurrita "Txufu" (Drums).
Javier Bilbatua "Billi"[/url] (Bass).
Eventually bassist change and added another guitarist to reinforce the sound of the band:
Javier Bilbatua "Billy" left the band in 1989 and was replaced by Patxi Irisarri (bass) until the first split of the band in 1991.
Between 1989 and 1991 the band also became a quartet with the addition of guitarist Iñigo Muguruza (Kortatu, Negu Gorriak, Joxe Ripiau, Beti Mugan, Sagarroi, Lurra, Hiru Leike, etc).
The band restart again its activity in 2019 for a tribute live show to guitarrist Iñigo Muguruza, who passed away on September 5, 2019.
In 2022 Delirium Tremens released "Hordago". During the recording sessions of "Hordago", the album's producer (Haritz Harreguy) joined the band as guitarrist. After the recording of "Hordago" and some live shows, Patxi Irisarri (bass) leaves the band and was replaced by Mikel Kazalis (Negu Gorriak, Anestesia, Kuraia, Estigia, 2 Kate, Matxura, etc).
With the quartet formed by Andoni (vocals and guitar), Juantxo (drums), Haritz (guitar) and Mikel (bass), they continue offering live shows between 2022 and 2025. In 2024 they publish on the "[l=Balaunka]" record label a last album: "...Ta Nora?".
Delirium Tremens has announced that a second split of the band will take place on 2025.
