Congolese singer-songwriter (b: December 31, 1958, Kinshasa - d: December 27, 2021, Douala). His musical background is typically Congolese. He made his debut in song in 1976, in small groups in a populous district of Kinshasa. His models were called, at the time, [a=Papa Wemba], [a= M'Vula N'Yoka Longo], [a=Gina Efonge] and [a=Evoloko Jocker], four singers from the Zaïko group of the 1970s. But on the singing side, the one with which he identifies most is [a=Tabu Ley Rochereau].
