Founded in 2016 by [a=Dave Murphy (32)], Shane Cahill and Gerry Clince after their main band Mael Mórdha went on hiatus on November, 2015. The first live concert of the band has been on 26th March, 2017 opening for Ereb Altor in Dublin, Ireland.
The band's name is taken from Death the Leveller, a poem by the English dramatist James Shirley (1595-1666).
