Formed by Dave Dobbyn in 1981. They were wildly successful, winning the "best group" award, "best album" award, and "best male vocalist" (for Dobbyn) at the New Zealand Music Awards two years in a row in 1982 and 1983. After a free concert in downtown Auckland in December 1984 ended in a riot which Dobbyn was arrested for inciting (the charges were later dropped), the band had run its course, and broke up soon after.
