He was due to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Think About Things", before the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is set to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. In Söngvakeppnin (the islandic preselection for the ESC) and Eurovision he performes with his group [b]Gagnamagnið[/b], now collectively credited as [b]Daði og Gagnamagnið[/b].
