Jamaican reggae singer born 1952 in Kingston. After having recorded some songs for producers Clement "Coxsone" Dodd, Prince Buster or Bunny Lee between 1966 and 1970, Dawn Penn left the music and moved to Tortola, British Virgin Islands. She came back to Jamaica in 1987 and re-recorded her 1967 Studio One hit "You don't love me - No no no" with producers Steely & Clevie in 1992. This new version was an international hit in 1994.
