Drummer from North Adams, Massachusetts, USA.
Born January 30th, 1948. Joined The Bushmen in 1964 four months before the band moved to Los Angeles. The band changed their name at a late stage to Euphoria. Potter joined Lee Michaels's band for the recording of [m275803]. Potter left before the completion of the album. Despite having recorded all but one of the songs on the album he was not credited as such. However, his drum performances on the album led to a strong reputation as a drummer. Following his departure he joined East Side Kids. The band folded after their manager took off with all the band’s money and equipment.
Potter moved to Houston, Texas where he formed Endle St. Cloud with Alan Melinger. He subsequently joined a fifteen piece group traveling to Australia, called “The One Ton Gypsy". Upon his return to Los Angeles he met his wife and moved to Wisconsin, where he starting up his own band, Potter’s Marauders.
