Hassinger was recording sound engineer at undefined. Through 1964-1966 he engineered albums for [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Rolling+Stones%2C+The]The Rolling Stones and also signed & managed The Electric Prunes[/url].

In 1969 Hassinger struck out on his own and purchased the old Moonglow Records studio and created undefined. A second 'B' studio, Sound Factory West was created for a period, but closed when he expanded the original studio on Selma Avenue. He then bowed out of the business in 1980 and the studio remained empty. It was later purchased in 1981 by
Tutti Camarata, who merged its identity with his Sunset Sound Recorders to become undefined & undefined.
