In 1991, Darren joined Underworld but left the group in 2000 to focus on spinning around the world and directing his label Underwater Records. Since 2012, he has been running the digital label Underwater Records.

Darren was resident DJ for Open All Hours (at the Ministry Of Sound) and Subterrain (at The End).
